The Zentsuji City Board of Education (8 elementary schools and 2 junior high schools) completed the deployment of student devices (iPads) and peripherals as part of the GIGA School Initiative in January 2021.With one device per student totaling 2,331 units (including some for teachers), utilization has begun. Through trial and error prioritizing ease of use and adoption in the field, the devices are being used smoothly. We spoke with Assistant Director Shogo Tsushima (also serving as Assistant Director of the Digital Promotion Office) and Chief Yuki Miyaji of the Education Administration Division at the Zentsuji City Board of Education about the reasons for this success and their operations using our CLOMO MDM solution.
