In today's business environment, the explosive growth of cloud services and the adoption of devices running various mobile platforms—such as Windows, iOS, and Android—are accelerating. Consequently, the need for effective management of information and content accessed on these devices, along with comprehensive and efficient management and operation of devices across all mobile platforms, is growing stronger. Responding to this market trend and heightened customer demand, i Cubed has been recognized for its Microsoft Azure solutions in the areas of"support quality," "TCO (Total Cost of Ownership)," and "richness of enterprise features and response speed." Additionally, considering the growing expectations for Windows-powered devices in the enterprise market and the persistent demand for 2-in-1 devices, i Cubed Systems has decided to fully migrate the CLOMO platform to Microsoft Azure and expand its solutions for the Windows platform. In particular, the various enhanced features in Windows 10 are expected to significantly improve its suitability as a mobile device for enterprise use. The expansion of Windows 10 usage is anticipated to broaden mobile application scenarios, including tasks closer to core enterprise systems.Microsoft Japan recognizes the need to partner with service providers capable of delivering unified, total solutions spanning from clients to cloud services, supporting multiple platforms to meet diverse customer needs. This is especially true in the "mobile-first, cloud-first" era, where efficient device management and advanced responses to security threats are essential. Microsoft Japan had been exploring the potential for collaboration, particularly with industry-leading i Cubed.Against this backdrop, both companies agreed that maximizing synergies would enable the provision of optimal MDM solutions demanded by enterprises, leading to this collaboration.
Through this collaboration, i Cubed will enhance Windows support for "CLOMO MDM" and provide advanced features specifically tailored for Windows-powered devices, including integration with Windows 10 and EMS. This enables customers to manage mobile devices such as smartphones and tablets from a single console screen, regardless of their existing mobile platforms like iOS or Android.Furthermore, it enables organizations to maximize the benefits of Windows-powered devices, Microsoft's cloud services, and integration with Microsoft's partner ecosystem. This expansion of business-usable mobile devices and cloud services within enterprises boosts productivity while enabling enhanced security, reduced management costs, and optimal utilization of IT assets. As the first step in this collaboration, i Cubed aims to fully migrate "CLOMO" to Microsoft Azure with the cooperation of Microsoft Japan, while significantly enhancing support for the Windows platform.

- Around Spring 2016: Launched "CLOMO MDM" integrated with EMS
- Within 2016: Launch of "CLOMO MDM" supporting unique and advanced features of Windows 10 devices
Additionally, Microsoft i Cubed will collaborate i Cubed not only in technical support for product development but also in marketing and sales. Leveraging the strengths of both companies, i Cubed aims to sell 100,000 licenses for Windows-powered devices in the first year. Over the next three years, it targets becoming one of Japan's largest platform services, managing over one million devices across Windows and other platforms.
Furthermore, through this collaboration, both companies plan to develop new solutions addressing device demand and data management/utilization in the rapidly growing IoT market.
