Jikei University School of i Cubed have entered into a "Joint Research and Development Agreement" to verify and promote the utilization of smart devices for improving healthcare quality. They have conducted research on supporting mobile working behaviors in the medical field.

The Advanced Medical Information Technology Research Group at Jikei University School of Medicine has published a book titled "Future Healthcare Begins with Your Smartphone: The Cutting Edge of Healthcare + ICT" (Nikkei BP). This publication shares insights gained from the above activities i Cubed from the "Medical IT Media Lab" initiative i Cubed, aiming to make these findings widely available for public use.


This book comprehensively details the smartphone implementation and utilization project at Tokyo Jikei University School of Medicine, which achieved the world's largest-scale deployment of 3,400 iPhones. It covers essential considerations beforehand (security and operational measures, points to note when promoting usage), examples of cutting-edge medical apps and IoT/robot applications, and actual documents in use, including smartphone usage agreements, pledges, and patient notifications.
