-Shared iPadでのパーソナルな学習体験や生徒用iPadの学習状況確認などを実現-
株式会社アイキューブドシステムズ（本社：福岡県福岡市、代表取締役社長：佐々木 勉、以下アイキューブドシステムズ）は、Appleが提供する教育機関向け新機能「Apple School Manager」に対応したCLOMO MDMを2016年11月下旬に提供開始いたします。「Apple School Manager」は、iPhone、iPadなど、Apple社が提供するiOSデバイスの教育機関向け管理機能をフル活用するために必要なサービスです。教育機関のIT管理者は「Apple School Manager」と、対応MDMサービスを使って、「Shared iPad」「Managed Apple ID」「クラスルームアプリケーション」など、教育機関向けの新機能(*1)を利用できるようになります。
「Apple School Manager」に対応した「CLOMO MDM」の主な新機能(*2)
・Shared iPad対応
「Shared iPad」は、複数の生徒でiPadを共有する学校のために用意された機能です。生徒はiPadのロック画面上に表示される顔写真を選択することで、生徒それぞれの学習環境にログインできます。ログイン時には前回の授業を終えた時点の状態で始められるため、生徒全員に生徒一人一台のiPadを配布するのと同じような準備時間で授業を始められます。
なお、この時、教育機関のIT管理者は「Shared iPad」利用時のユーザー数設定、デバイス管理、アプリ配布などをApple School Managerと「CLOMO MDM」を通じて全て遠隔で行えるため、設定変更時にデバイスを回収する必要がありません。
・Managed Apple ID対応
「Managed Apple ID」は、「Shared iPad」を教育機関が円滑に利用するために特別に用意された全く新しい「Apple ID」です。教育機関のIT管理者はApple School Managerと「CLOMO MDM」を通じて「Managed Apple ID」を設定でき、手軽に導入・運用を行えます。
なお、「Managed Apple ID」は従来のように「iCloud」「iTunes U」へのアクセスに利用できるだけでなく、教育機関のIT管理者による「メールアドレス登録を必要としないIDの一括作成」や「教育向けに最適化された機能制限」などにも対応しているため、Apple ID導入・運用の手間を大幅に削減することにも利用できます。
・クラスルームアプリケーション対応
「クラスルームアプリケーション」は、全員のアプリケーションを同時に開いて、生徒たちがデバイス上で見ているものをコントロールすることができます。また教師は「クラスルームアプリケーション」を通じて、生徒がワークシートや数式に取り組んでいる様子を知りたい時は、どの画面でもワンタップで見ることができ、生徒がパスワードのリセット操作をする時は、教師のiPadから直接手伝うなど円滑な学習を支援できます。
なお、教育機関のIT管理者は「クラスルームアプリケーション」利用において「CLOMO MDM」を通じて、クラス・生徒情報の設定を遠隔で行えるため、生徒の進級、クラス変更などに応じたデバイス設定変更を行う際にもデバイスを回収する必要がありません。
