■Background and Purpose
In recent years, the diversification of work styles and the promotion of digital transformation (DX) have rapidly expanded the use of mobile devices within organizations such as companies. In particular, the use of dedicated terminals specialized for specific tasks, such as customer service operations and factory inspection work, has increased. However, alongside this expansion, new challenges have emerged, including support requests arising from non-business use and unnecessary user operations. Administrators are now required to address these issues.
To address these challenges, i Cubed has provided "CLOMO Launcher," a service that customizes the home screen of Android devices to display only necessary apps. With enhanced functionality, this service is now renamed "CLOMO HOME" and will be newly launched. "CLOMO HOME" now includes a folder feature, allowing administrators to display apps and folders on the home screen using a customized layout.Additionally, it includes a feature that restricts changes to settings while allowing users to adjust certain settings. " CLOMO HOME" is a home screen app for Android devices offered as an optional service for the mobile device management software "CLOMO". Register up to nine apps in a single folder. Organize them by category or purpose to create a home screen that users can navigate intuitively.
(2) Flexible Layout Allowing Registration of Up to 144 Apps
You can freely arrange apps or folders on the Home screen along a 4×4 grid. By utilizing the folder feature, you can register up to 144 apps.
(3) Fine-grained control over OS settings access
You can restrict users to accessing only specific settings, such as turning Wi-Fi or Bluetooth on/off, while limiting changes to other settings.
