CLOMO MDM becomes the first in Japan to offer enhanced loss prevention features for smartphones and tablets

株式会社アイキューブドシステムズ（本社：福岡県福岡市、代表取締役社長：佐々木 勉、以下、アイキューブドシステムズ）は、iOS / Androidデバイス紛失時の、不正利用リスクを低減する紛失対策機能を強化したMDMサービス「CLOMO MDM」の提供を開始しました。

本機能実装により、企業、教育機関、医療機関のIT管理者は、CLOMO MDMを通じて、紛失中のiOS / Android搭載スマートフォン、タブレットに対して遠隔で「デバイス回収用のメッセージと連絡先情報の表示」「デバイス回収時まで有効な強制ロック(*1)」「デバイス位置情報の強制取得(*2)」「デバイス初期化コマンドの無期限継続」を行えるようになりました(*3)。本機能を利用することで、企業、教育機関、医療機関で活用されているスマートフォン、タブレットの紛失対策は高度化され、「紛失によるデバイスの廃棄リスク」や「デバイスの不正利用による情報漏えいリスク」を低減できます。

本機能は盗難紛失対策に非常に効果的な機能です。Appleが提供する、主に個人向けに提供されているサービス「iPhoneを探す(*4)」でも同様の機能が提供されており、提供開始された年にはiPhoneの盗難がロンドンで50%、サンフランシスコで40%、ニューヨークで25%、それぞれ減少したというデータが公表(*5)されているほどです。

なお、本機能がデバイスへ適用されると、CLOMO MDMからIT管理者向けに通知メールが自動配信されます。そのため、IT管理者はCLOMO MDMの管理コンソールにアクセスせずに紛失デバイスへの機能適用状況を把握でき、効率的な管理を行えます。
