CLOMO MDM、iOSアプリの配布機能を強化

-スマートデバイス導入時のキッティング作業を大幅に効率化-

株式会社アイキューブドシステムズ（本社：福岡県福岡市、代表取締役社長：佐々木 勉、以下 アイキューブドシステムズ）は、MDM(*1)サービス「CLOMO MDM」のiOSアプリ配布機能を強化したことを発表いたします。

IT管理者はスマートデバイスの導入や故障・機種変更などに応じて、デバイスに対し、アプリのインストールやネットワークへの接続設定、セキュリティの強化設定などの初期設定を行っています。具体的には、アプリのインストールの他にも、社内ネットワーク（Wi-Fi、VPNなど）への接続設定やグループウェアへの接続設定、カメラ機能や外部ストレージなどの利用制限設定などが行われています。このような設定はプロファイルと呼ばれるファイルを作成し、デバイスに適用することでそれら設定を施しますが、CLOMO MDMを利用している法人では平均20種類のプロファイルと平均23種類のアプリが運用(*2)されており、このように初期設定作業は、IT管理者にとって大きな負担になっています。

本作業の負担を軽減するために、これまでもCLOMO MDMは、組織に応じたプロファイルのデバイスへの自動適用機能を提供してきましたが、この度、CLOMO MDMは、さらなるIT管理者の負担軽減を目指し、iOSアプリの配布機能を強化し、iOSアプリの自動配布(*3)(*4)を行えるようになりました。本機能強化によって、IT管理者は組織に応じたプロファイルやアプリをスマートデバイスに自動で設定・配布できるようになりました。

特に、機能強化したCLOMO MDMとAppleが提供するDevice Enrollment Program、Volume Purchase Programをあわせて活用することで、iOSデバイスのアクティベーション(初回起動設定)作業後、デバイス設定やアプリインストールが自動的に行われるような事前設定が可能(*5)となり、デバイスのキッティング作業をさらに軽減することができます。
